The Japan Steel Works, Ltd.

The Japan Steel Works, Ltd. (JSW) was founded in 1907 as a joint venture between the Japanese government and two British firms, focusing on military equipment production.
After World War II, JSW shifted to civilian industries such as automotive, electronics, shipbuilding, and petrochemicals, specializing in high-grade steels, plastics, and industrial machinery.
Headquartered in Tokyo, JSW operates 4 plants in Japan and around 20 global offices.

Japan Steel Works Europe GmbH

In 1969, JSW established the first European office to support plastics and steel products machinery businesses.
To enhance local service, the Extrusion Technical Center opened in Belgium in 2010, later relocated to Düsseldorf, Germany in 2017.
In 2012, the office became a subsidiary, Japan Steel Works Europe GmbH, to strengthen regional support.
The current facility offers advanced trial capabilities, including reactive processing and devolatilization, enabling us to co-develop innovative plastic solutions with our Europe customers.
JSW Europe Extrusion Technical Center is not only a trial center for extruders, but also a continuously evolving key hub for sales and technical support for plastics machinery and steel products.
By collaborating with European partner companies, JSW Europe strengthens local after-sales services and provides inventory-based sales, ensuring prompt and efficient support across Europe.
